Abstract
The majority of the time, oral administration of medications to patients is chosen. However, many medications have limited uses in oral delivery due to their low solubility. In the pharmaceutical industry, improving a drug's water solubility is a primary goal. One of the most crucial elements affecting bioavailability and dissolution rate is solubility. By using different polymers, the solid dispersion approach improves the bioavailability and dissolution rate of poorly soluble medicines. In this review, techniques for solid dispersion were examined, along with the characterization of solid dispersions.
